Swine Flu outbreak

An apparent outbreak of swine flu appears to be spreading around the world. The epicenter of this outbreak seems to be Mexico. A total of 140 deaths are supposedly caused by this swine flu, but only about 18 have been linked as the cause of death. There are also another 1,614 reported cases of swine flu. As the virus travels from person to person, it has more chances and ability, to mutate, making it harder to kill off. Swine flu is a respiratory disease that usually affects pigs, although the current strain is a mutation of swine flu, that is a combination of the pig affecting virus and a human affecting virus. This makes it possible for it to effect both animals and humans. In the U.S. the largest outbreak is in New York, where eight students at a preparatory school were confirmed to have the flu. The virus has also been confirmed in, Canada, New Zealand, Israel and Spain.
